Working With Vulnerable People

All school staff and all people volunteering in our school must register to work with vulnerable people. This applies to anyone working or volunteering with students during school hours and at special school events. This would include, for example, our reading helpers, canteen volunteers, support volunteers at our sports carnivals. Anyone who volunteers, in any way, at the school must register.

There is no cost for volunteers and you register. You will find more information on the ACT Justice and Community Safety web site regarding the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
