Father's Day Breakfast
A heartfelt thank you. I want to extend a big thank you to everyone who joined us for the Father’s Day breakfast this morning. It was a fantastic community event, and we were thrilled to see so many smiling faces (over 400 people attended this morning).
A special shout-out to the wonderful mums who helped make this morning such a success. Your hard work setting up, cooking, and cleaning up did not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for your support. The bacon and egg sandwiches were a hit, and the pastries were enjoyed by all!
Thank you for making this day so special. We hope everyone had a great time celebrating the amazing dads in our community. I wish all the dads and special men in the lives of our students, a very ‘Happy Father’s Day’ on Sunday.
Don’t Miss the School Musical
Pirates of the Curry Bean Ahoy, families! A quick reminder that our much-anticipated school musical, Pirates of the Curry Bean, is just around the corner. The performances will be held on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 September, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic show.There are still tickets available, but they’re selling fast! Be sure to grab yours soon to avoid missing out on this swashbuckling adventure filled with music, laughter, and incredible performances by our talented students.
The canteen will be open at interval time and will be selling a range of treats, including wine and beer for the adults.
We can’t wait to see you there for what promises to be an unforgettable evening!
Join us at the Kambah Shops this Saturday
This Saturday, we’ll be joining the celebration of Kambah’s 50th anniversary with a school stall at the Kambah shops! We’ll be there from 9:00am to 11:00am, and we’d love for you to pop along and say hello. The SCC committee members and staff will be there to talk to people about the great school community that we belong to.The Fete Committee will also be staying until 2:00pm, selling tickets for our upcoming fete’s exciting "Pick a Prize" raffle. It’s a great chance to support the school and get involved in the community festivities.
The weather is starting to warm up (but we always get at least one more cold snap), so make the most of it and have a great weekend.

Sacramental Information
Congratulations to all the students who have received the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time. Meikah will celebrate her First Eucharist on Sunday 8 September at 10am Mass, we invite all families to attend.
The information night for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation is on this Wednesday (4 September) at 6pm in the Church. We have 31 students enrolled for First Reconciliation this year. Please keep these students and their families in your prayers over the next few months as they prepare.
St Vincent de Paul
We are continuing to support members of our community through regular donations to the St Vincent de Paul food pantry. If you are able to add the following item to your grocery shop this fortnight as a donation it will be greatly appreciated.
This fortnight we are focussing on tea, coffee and tinned fruit.
Global School Partners
Keep a look out for special items in the canteen during week 7 to fundraise for Global School Partners. Special items will appear in Flexischools by Monday morning which can be ordered online or by cash sales. We are raising funds for student laptops. This will enable students in Year 8 and 9 at the St Thomas Academy in Kenya to access high school education programs.

Archdiocesan Assembly
The Archdiocesan Assembly will be held on the 18 - 20 October. This is a chance for all to gather, discuss and discern the Holy Spirit at work in our midst. If you interested to find our more information or register your attendance, please go to the following website:
