Book Week is this term, and this year’s theme is “Book an adventure”.

In Week 5 we will hold 2 events for families to join, on Thursday 21 August.

1. Our annual Book week dress parade at 8:50am.
2. Our first “Books, bears, buddies and blankets” at 2:30pm until bell time.

Children can bring a soft toy to school on this day, but it needs to fit into their school bags.

Both events will be held around the stage. Children dress up as a character from a book or as something that fits with the theme. There are some websites below to give you some ideas but please don’t feel as if you need to spend a lot of money. We encourage you to use your imagination to create a costume with your child from what you already have at home if you can. You’ll be surprised with items you already own or can borrow that will make a great costume! Looking forward to seeing our community come together to celebrate the wonders of books.
