Our beautiful school library is a valuable resource centre for the entire school.

Mrs Judy Egan, our Teacher Librarian, takes each class for 45 minutes per week to support and enrich classroom learning, teach research skills and cyber safety and explore the wonderful world of books.

Our library lap tops are a great resource for Information Technology. They provide an avenue for students to access the internet and complete research-based tasks.

Mrs Colleen Mulheren, our Library Assistant, assists with all major library tasks including borrowing, cataloguing and maintaining our collection of books and resources.

Children are encouraged to bring a library bag to borrow books each week. Classes are sent reminders for overdue books during the term.

Each year we highlight Book Week by exploring the short-listed books nominated for awards. We also promote a ‘dress up as a book character day’ during Book Week.

Recently we have set up a parent borrowing area with information for parents on a variety of topics. The library is open most lunchtimes for children to access computers and as a quiet spot to read and draw.

We are very proud of our school library, it’s a great place to visit, say hello or browse for a book. You are always very welcome.
